About

IBM and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s AI Working Group are holding a policy briefing on AI competition and innovation. In the inaugural event of our Technology Educational Briefing Series, we will bring together thought leaders for a discussion on open-source technology in AI. Open-source technology is critical for AI, and the broad economic and social benefits of openness are overwhelmingly evident.

Why attend

In this educational briefing session, we explore how open access to AI impacts America’s leadership in this technology, particularly through the lenses of innovation, safety and security, competition, and global competitiveness. Join the panel discussion about open source, the current market, meaning of open source and the importance of AI adoption in the US, including current barriers to adoption.
