We present for the first time the implementation of a molecular beacon reaction and a clamped hybridization chain reaction inside of a self-coalescence module of a capillary-driven microfluidic chip based on a fluorescence signal detection. We specifically show the impact of the concentration of a DNA initiator on the intensity of the fluorescence signal for both reactions and the formation of a polymer inside of a capillary-driven microfluidic chip.
