The voltage noise in magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJ) and the dependence of this electronic noise on bias and magnetic field were determined. Noise with a Gaussian amplitude distribution and a pure 1/f power spectrum that scales as V2 are generally observed, however, deviations are seen. Such deviations can occur on a Lorentzian character above a critical bias value.
