A study was carried out to explore the conjecture that all states with negative under partial transposition (NPT) would possess distillable entanglement. By considering a two-parameter family of NPT states, an evidence was obtained indicating that the conjecture is false. It was suggested that the family of states considered has only bound entanglement, despite being NPT.
