Fanjing Meng (孟繁晶)           

Dr. Fanjing Meng is an STSM(Senior Technical Staff Member) and CTO of China Systems Lab (CSL). She is now working with CSL technical leaders to drive product/technology innovations, increase technical eminence, and develop technical skills and talents for the lab. She has 20+ years research experience in various areas including AIOps(AI for Cloud/IT operations), IT Operations Analytics (ITOA), Cloud Computing, Software/Solution Engineering, Project Portfolio Management and Optimization (PPMO), Cloud Migration, Enterprise Knowledge Extraction and Management, Model-driven Business Transformation, Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS). The innovative research results have been delivered to IBM products/services team and hundreds of Fortune 500 enterprises.

Besides, she has published 30+ papers in top international conferences and journals and received the “Best Paper Award” from IEEE CLOUD 2013. She has 30+ patents and patent applications in various innovation areas. She is serving as the general co-chairs, TPC co-chairs and members for a number of Top intenational conferences and a reviewer of international journals. She is also a founding member and project lead of IEEE WIE (Women-in-Engineering) Beijing Affinity and a member of IEEE Women in Services Computing (WISC). She joined IBM Research-China after she got her Ph.D. degree from Beihang University.
