Maxwell Crouse received a BSc in Computer Science from Indiana University and a PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University. At Northwestern, he studied how cognitive theories of analogy could be leveraged to design semantic parsers that were interpretable, explainable, and data-efficient. Currently, he is a research scientist at IBM Research where he works on neuro-symbolic approaches to language understanding and automated reasoning.
