Moshik Hershcovitch           

I am a researcher at the Cloud Storage group at IBM's Haifa Labs (Tel-Aviv site).

Specifically, I am working on data reduction (deduplication and compression) in storage systems. Intuitively, this means ways to reduce space consumption in storage systems.

Before joining IBM I was a Co-Founder and CEO of a startup in the field of machine learning.

In the past, I was a Hardware engineer - working on design, verification and architecture, as an engineer and as a manager.

I completed my Master’s degree in 2009 in the field of data structures under the supervision of Haim Kaplan and Boaz Patt-Shamir at the Tel-Aviv University.

My interests are algorithms and data structures.
