Luc Desrosiers           

I am an Open Group Distinguished Certified IT Architect with over 25 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have had the chance to work in different roles: developer, consultant and pre-sales architect, which has given me a well-rounded view on our industry. I am known for my hands-on technical expertise, my technical leadership and business acumen.

In 2015, I moved my family from Canada to the UK to join one great lab: IBM Hursley. In that role, I have had the opportunity to lead a worldwide team in deploying cloud infrastructures and refining my skills in DevOps, IaaS, Containers, Kubernetes, and Microservices.

In recent years, I've been the Chief Technical Leader for our Cloud Pak acceleration team, defining our technical strategy on modernisation and innovation, enabling a large geographically dispersed team.  More recently, I have been working as a Customer Success Manager within the Financial Sector.

In my hobbies, I love to write code for robots or useless devices for the challenge and the opportunity to try some of the great innovations available out there. When not fiddling around with gadgets, I love reading about history and travelling Europe.
