Andrew W. Cross           

I am a research staff member and manager of the theory of quantum computing and information group at IBM's TJ Watson Research Center. I have a long-standing interest in quantum error-correction and fault-tolerant architectures for quantum computers, as well as validation and control of superconducting qubits, and software for synthesis, optimization, and simulation of quantum circuits. I received S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
