Timothy R Dinger           

I have spent the last 28 years at IBM in the Research Division, Microelectronics Division, and Corporate Headquarters during which I have promoted the adoption of advanced technologies. For the past 8 years, I haver been the program director of the stream computing research effort, where I have managed the large contracts and projects which developed the IBM InfoSphere Streams product.  I have also been very active in developing a market for Streams in healthcare, where we have established Streams as the real-time analytics platform for critical care and monitoring of large patient populations.

I received the B.S. degree in Ceramic Engineering from the SUNY College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 1981, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA in 1983 and 1985, respectively.
