Marco Coraiola

Marco joined IBM Research - Zurich in 2021 as a Ph.D. researcher in the Science of Quantum and Information Technology group. His work focuses on quantum devices realized in hybrid superconductor-semiconductor material systems.

He holds an M.Sc. in Micro and Nanosystems from ETH Zurich (CH), where he completed his Master's thesis in Prof. Klaus Ensslin's Nanophysics group. Prior to that, Marco earned a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Polytechnic University of Turin (IT).

In recognition of his achievements, Marco received an ETH Medal and a Willi Studer Prize in 2021, and a Swiss Nanotechnology PhD Award in 2024.
