Michelle is a researcher in the field of human-centered AI. She is particularly interested in how people think about and understand AI systems. Her previous research focused on novice and end-user programming.

Michelle received her PhD in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis and her BS in Computer Science from Tufts University.
